O'Hare-Midway Limousine Service® has a toll free number and an efficient
system to get you to your limousine as quickly as possible. This system,
developed in accordance with the Department of Aviation regulations, works
as follows:
You must collect all your luggage prior to phoning the "800"
number. The Department of Aviation specifies that all passengers must
be waiting at the curb before the limousine arrives. Limousines are not
permitted to wait. If passengers are not at the curb when the limousine
arrives, the chauffeur is waved on and must recircle the airport, which
takes 15 to 30 minutes.
You may phone the "800" number (1-800-468-8989) from any airport
pay phone. Your call will be toll free. You may not phone from an airport
"courtesy phone".
You will be asked for your confirmation number. If you do not have it
handy, and you are a frequent traveler who lives in Illinois, your home
phone number will access your permanent profile in our computer system.
If you do not have a reservation, we will need to know your name, destination
address, number of people in your party, method of payment, and whether
you would prefer a shared or private car.
The dispatcher will give you a license plate number, which you should
write down on the back of a business card. This license plate number will
be on the limousine assigned to pick you up. We will also give you an
estimate of the amount of time it will take for the limousine to reach
you. Your limousine will be dispatched before you hang up the phone. Proceed
to the location the dispatcher has given you. To avoid being "hustled",
watch closely for limousines with our distinctive "O'Hare-Midway
Limousine Service®" license plate frames.
If possible, try to keep one of the business cards with you so that you
can refer to it for our "800" number, our reservation phone
numbers, and use it to write down confirmation and license plate numbers.
Each limousine will have a supply of replacement cards.
The "800" number is not intended for use when making future
reservations and cannot be used for that purpose. It is only to be used
when you have your luggage and are ready to leave the airport. It can
also be used at Midway, Palwaukee and any other regional airports, but
you must have a pre-arranged reservation. We do not stage limousines at
these airports.
